The Coven of the Gryphon Wiccan Church is a legal non-profit church located in Springfield, LA. We are dedicated to the promotion of the religion, understanding, practice and advancement of Wicca.

We Dedicate Ourselves to Assist Others:
* To reach a state of ultimate oneness with the Gods and Goddesses through research, education, training, application, and the perfection of ritual.
* To provide the community of Wiccans and pagans of other paths, a place of celebration, worship, and education.
* To promote an atmosphere of understanding and respect of the various paths and traditions.
So What is Our Path and Philosophy?
1. We adhere to the thought that all paths are equal and relevant.
Therefore we are an eclectic path.
2. We promote the Wiccan Rede, "Do as you will, but do harm to none."
3. We research the various traditions for self discovery to find which path fits the individual, but also teach the fundamental principals so anyone can attend another's group ritual and feel comfortable and know what is happening.
4. We teach good ethics and try our best to adhere to those ethics.
5. We teach through a tiered system of first degree to third degree, so the individual can achieve Priest/Priestess status, or a non-tiered system to allow the individual to reach their own desired level.
6. We believe in public service -- meaning that we help those in need, charities, law enforcement, etc.
7. We believe that all life is sacred and DO NOT perform animal or individual harm while performing rituals, classes, etc.
8. Being a member of this organization or an official guest of a member, you are legally entitled to come to all private get togethers, teachings, parties, and functions. It does NOT mean you are "obligated" to us in any way, or have to leave your covens, or leave your churches, or that you even have to come at all! You can be inactive and/or stop being a member at any time. We believe everyone has the right to exercise their freedom of choice and religion.
Membership
By filling out the membership/guest forms at the gate OR preregistering, you become a member OR guest of the ( C.G.W.C CLUB ), in order to keep all meetings legally "private" functions. If you would like to be a member of the ( CHURCH/COVEN ) we can talk !

My philosophy- We have a right as Pagans to join in fellowship with fellow pagans to celebrate our holidays and full moons the way we want. Here freedom rings loudly. Will you answer?
