Gryphon's Nest Campground
Gryphon's Nest Campground is dedicated to provide a venue for those who wish to freely express affinity for nature in their own way. The camp is also dedicated to the diversity of humankind. All are welcome.
Have you ever tried to book a camp or space for gatherings, weddings, religious rites, encounter group, or alternative lifestyle group, only to be turned down because the event was considered radical, or out of the ordinary? This camp is designed for "out of the ordinary people" without the fear of judgement or being disturbed by neighbors and owners.
Gryphon's Nest Campground is a picturesque 53 acres of semi- rough land with cleared areas and wooded perimeters in which you can romp and hold gatherings of any type. The area is surrounded by a swamp, assuring privacy. There are only one set of neighbors nearby, who are neutral as long as we respect their privacy and we are responsible for our actions.
Walk along the 80 ft. dock and watch for owls, turkeys, cranes, otters - who knows what you might see! Are you brave enough to bring your kayak and weave between the trees, or try your hand at catfishing? You may make good use of the land your own way, as long as you follow the rules and clean up.
