Gryphon's Nest Campground

Gryphon's Nest Campground is a private rental retreat located in the heart of Bayou Country!  We are the only Pagan and alternative lifestyle campground in Louisiana and we host numerous festivals throughout the year to bring the Pagan community together.  It isn't just the natural backdrop that gives Gryphon's Nest its "genius loci," or spirit of place: it is the people who stay here, who laugh and play here, who bond here, and who leave a little part of themselves behind here who give The Nest its spiritual charge.

After Hurricane Katrina devastated his once-thriving business, owner and proprietor Clifton Eakin relocated to a 46-acre estate in Acadiana with the intention of creating something Louisiana had never seen: a private, judgement-free campground for people from all walks of life who have a desire to reconnect with nature. It has now operated successfully for over 5 years (in spite of numerous impediments along the way), and is available to book for private camping groups, company retreats, and large festivals that are aligned with the core principal of Gryphon's Nest:
